Economic Analytics
Economic Analytics is a boutique consultancy practice founded in 2022 by Christian Spence, an economist and data scientist with over 15 years’ experience of working in public policy. It specialises in automated, interactive and reproducible analysis, forecasting and modelling.
Our work is deployed to the web in bespoke environments so that clients get live access to their commissioned research which updates as soon as the underlying data does. We built and maintain EDD, our own custom-built database of over 25,000 economic variables, that is automatically kept up-to-date with the latest data releases.
We don’t write lengthy reports and provide uneditable PDFs (#KillAllReports)1 as they’re out-of-date by the time they’re printed. Instead, we give you live and direct access to the data, models and visualisations so that your results are not locked at one point in time, but instead update as new evidence is released. After all, when the facts change, your mind should too.2
We work with a variety of clients from not-for-profits, trade bodies, local authorities through to blue-chip companies to provide economic and economic data-led research to support research and analysis, decision making, modelling and forecasting. We offer generous discounts to not-for-profit organisations.
